Important information regarding the registration for courses

Faculty of Humanties

1. Where and when?
The registration for courses opens on 7th February 4:00 pm and closes on 15th February at 4:00 pm in the Neptun System.

2. How do I do that?
To be able to register, you will need your Neptun code and password. You will receive them by e-mail a few days before the Orienation Week.

When you enter NEPTUN for the first time, you will need to change your password. When you do this, please, write down your NEPTUN user name and password in your agenda or mobile phone so that you remember them later. (For more information, please read the NEPTUN guide carefully)

3. Troubleshooting

3.1. Invalid or forgotten user name or password
If you have a problem with your user name or password, please, contact Mónika Szuhai at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (studens from the EU) or Edina Magyar (overseas students).

3.2. You can’t see the course in Neptun

Please make sure that you are searching for the course with its code.
If you cannot see a course in your Neptun, please, contact the institute/department administrators AND the departmental Erasmus coordinators.

3.3. The course quota is full

If the course quota is full, you will need assistance. First, write to the teacher holding the course (you can find his/her contact details in each course description). If you have his/her permission to take the course, go to the given department during office hours, ask the administrators for raising the quota, and register on the spot. You are advised to ask your Buddy to go with you.

3.4. Any other problems

If other unforeseen problems occur, please,
- contact the Erasmus Office (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) if you are a student from the EU and please,
- contact Edina Magyar (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) if you are a student from outside the EU. The sooner you contact us, the sooner we will be able to help you.

4. Language requirements for the courses
Please have a look at what language the course you have chosen is given in – English, German, Dutch or Spanish.

You will need to pass your language test in order to take courses in English (unless you are a native speaker). The language test will take place on 7th February at 11:00 am. Participation is mandatory unless you are a native speaker of English. If you do not pass this test, you will need to take a free English language course at your level at our Language Education Center, and any teacher has the right to decline your registration for his/her course.

Thank you for your cooperation!
