Enrolment and Registration
For establishing the student legal status, students shall enrol in the university and should swear the oath. No further enrolment is required during the student status. The enrolment may take place in person, or in justified cases (e.g. disease) by a proxy who brings the documents and the official authorization required for the enrolment with him/her. During the enrolment self-funded students shall conclude a training agreement according to Annex 9 of the Academic and Exam Regulation, Student Requirement System, Volume III of the Organisational and Operational Rules. The agreement includes the amount of the tuition fee and the fees to be paid as well as the conditions of the payment obligation. Self-funded students may only enrol in the university after paying the tuition fee.
After establishment of the student status, students should register for an active semester at the beginning of each study period (fall or spring semester). The suspension of the student status (for the given study period) must be reported, too. When registering for a semester, students should check their data, and should notify any changes at the Registrar’s Office immediately. Only students having fulfilled their payment obligations may continue their studies.
The student legal status is established upon enrolment. The Registrar’s Office of the Faculty responsible for the study programme places the enrolment form containing personal and training data, electronically prepared and printed from Neptun, at the disposal of the admitted applicants / transferred students at the previously specified enrolment date. The admitted applicants / transferred student should fill in the missing data, and should sign the enrolment form. The enrolment is completed by the authentication of the enrolment form by the Head of the Registrar’s Office of the Faculty responsible for the study programme. In the semesters following the enrolment, students should also register electronically in Neptun to continue their studies
Rights and obligations of students are determined by Act CCIV of 2011 on national higher education, its implementing government decrees and the University’s regulations.
Students may exercise their rights arising from the student status from the date of enrolment.
