The basic task of the residence halls is to accommodate full-time students participating in Bachelor, Master and PhD programmes, single-cycle programmes, tertiary vocational programmes and postgraduate specialisation programmes for the duration of fulfilment of their study requirements. In Nagykőrös Residence Hall of the Faculty for Pedagogy all students of the faculty can be accommodated.

Bethlen Gábor Residence Hall and Benda Kálmán College College of Excellence in Humanities and Social Sciences are primarily waiting for the students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Students of the Faculty of Law may be admitted to Bocskai István Residence Hall, especially those who live outside the administrative boundaries of the university, or who need accommodation based on their social needs. The students’ good behaviour, academic achievements and social activities are taken into consideration during the admission procedure. The residence halls and colleges for advanced studies contribute to the training of intellectual professionals, and serve to promote and further develop the heritage of the Reformed colleges in Hungary.

In Óbuda Residence Hall rented by the university 253 students may be placed in double bedrooms. Full-time students funded through Hungarian state scholarship as well as self-funded students of all of our five faculties may apply for accommodation in Óbuda Residence Hall.
