Department of Civil Procedure

Civil Procedure is the law of litigation. Wherever disputes arise and cannot be solved with alternative dispute resolution methods, the procedure of courts will be necessary to resolve a claim with finality. Through three semesters we introduce the new (Act CXXX. of 2016, effective as of January 1, 2018) rules of civil procedure, the role of courts, parties and their representatives, the first instance and appellate procedures together with the review of the Kúria; in the closing semester we introduce the most important non-litigation procedures, like order for payment, bankruptcy procedure, inheritance procedure. Exams of the litigation procedure (PpI. and PpII. as final exam) shall be oral, in non-litigation procedures written exam shall be hold.
