On July 4, 2017, the Rector of our University, Prof. Dr. Péter Balla, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Chancellor of Kyoto University of Foreign Studies Dr. Yoshikazu Morita, who was accompanied on his visit to Hungary by Prof. Toshiki Kumagai, Vice President of the university and Prof. Masayoshi Hashimoto, Director of Educational Affairs.
Mr. Gyula Sümeghy, Director of International Relations, Dr. Ilona Varrók, Head of the Japanese Department and Mr. Seiji Wakai Japanese Instructor form Károli also attended the event. With this agreement, our university became first in Hungary to sign a memorandum with the Kyoto institution, expanding the number of our existing and ongoing cooperation projects with Japan to 9.
