Faculty members of the Institute of Social Work and Deaconry from the Faculty of Teacher Training visited Viaa Christian University of Applied Sciences, Zwolle in the Netherlands (Viaa means „living water”).
In a tight schedule, organized by the host international coordinator, Tjalling Oosterhuis, they participated in two lectures, visited two social work institutions, and conducted several discussions on potential cooperation. As a coincidence, a faculty member of Dordt College (Iowa, USA) was also present; and thus the discussions on mutual involvement were extended to that direction as well. Future plans for cooperation include shared trainings and research in all three countries. The next meeting will take place in Hungary in the fall of 2018.
