New academic year begins with a high number of international students

The opening ceremony of the academic year of 2018/19 was held in the church of the Budapest-Fasori Reformed Congregation on the 3rd of September 2018 where first year students were formally admitted to the university.

116 international students from 27 countries have begun their studies at Károli, most of them staying for one semester within the framework of the Erasmus and other international exchange programmes, while 8 international students have started a full degree programme.

The Orientation Week for the newly arrived international students was held on 3-7 September. During the week, participating students had the opportunity to gain basic knowledge about European and Hungarian history and culture. In order to get more familiar with Budapest, a sightseeing tour was also organised for them.
