On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of its foundation the Faculty of Law of our university organised a celebratory conference on 4 December 2018. The conference was held in the magnificent building of the Hungarian National Assembly.
After the welcoming words of the Dean of the Faculty of Law Dr Csaba Törő, an array of high level officials, among others the Rector of the university Professor Péter Balla, Bishop István Szabó, Head of the Reformed Church in Hungary, Deputy Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly Dr János Latorczai, President of the Constitutional Court Dr Tamás Sulyok, Vice-President of the Curia of Hungary Dr István Kónya and Minister of Justice Dr László Trócsányi, greeted the representatives of the university and the invited guests.
The conference was also addressed by senior representatives of the Prosecution Service, the National Judicial Office, the Hungarian Bar Association and the Hungarian Association of Public Notaries who gave their assessment of the wide-ranging cooperation between their organisations and the Faculty of Law.
