Our University hosted the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid greetings event

On March 24, the Károlyi-Csekonics Palace hosted the annual Donors Greeting event, organized by the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid, where they showed their appreciation to the generous donors who supported the cause of the organization.

The Hungarian Reformed Church Aid provides assistance to tens of thousands of people in need every year in Hungary and also across borders, whether it be material donations, social development or talent management. The patrons gathered at the event were gratefully thanked in the spirit of Acts of the Apostles 20:35 - “It is more blessed to give than to receive”.

The event started with a devotion held by Bishop Zoltán Balog, the Ministerial President of the General Synod of the Reformed Church in Hungary. Then, Dr. Károly Czibere, the President of the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid delivered his presidential greeting. The Kossuth Prize-winning actor Ildikó Hűvösvölgyi and the violinist Márta Ábrahám also performed at the ceremony.

The special guest of the event was Katalin Novák, newly elected President of the Republic, Ambassador of the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid, who was praised for her work as Ambassador of the charity service.
