On December 12, 2022, a three-year cooperation agreement was signed between the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary (KRE), represented by Rector Prof. Dr. László Trócsányi, and the Camőes - Institute for Cooperation and Language (Camões, I.P.), represented by Jorge Roza de Oliveira, Ambassador of Portugal to Budapest.
Under the agreement, the Camões, I.P. will provide financial support for lecturers of the Portuguese courses at the Department of Foreign Languages, by partially covering the costs of lecturers' contractual activities.
The Director of the Portuguese Institute, João Miguel Henriques attended the meeting as well as Vice-Rector for Science and Research, Prof. Dr. Bálint Péter Furkó, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. habil. Géza Horváth, and Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Judit Kocsis.
