Dr. Wakai Seiji, Associate Professor, Department of Japanese Studies, has been awarded the Ambassador's Medal for his many years of tireless work in promoting Japanese Studies, organizing scientific symposia and other events, for developing Japanese language education in Hungary, publishing books and dictionaries, and strengthening student exchange connections.
In recognition of these achievements, Ambassador Otaka Masato presented our colleague with the 2022 Ambassadorial Medal at an award ceremony at the Japanese Ambassador's Residence on 13 February.
