International Graduation Ceremony

The graduation ceremony for international students at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences was held in the Cigar Room of the Károlyi-Csekonics Palace on 28 June. On this occasion, diplomas were awarded to fourteen students, including three Egyptians, three Hungarians, two Kosovars, one American, one Pakistani, one Montenegrin, one Kenyan, one Syrian, and one Kazakh citizen, graduating from the English language BA program in Psychology and the Hungarian language MA program in History.

At the ceremony, the fresh graduates were addressed by Borbála Mikola, our university pastor, Péter Furkó, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Géza Horváth, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Zsuzsanna Kövi, Head of the Institute of Psychology, Csaba Hidán, Associate Professor of the Institute of History, and Gábor Szalai, Head of the International Relations Office. The event was moderated by Judit Nagy, Vice-Dean for International Affairs. The event was followed by a photo session and a reception in honour of the fresh graduates.

International students have been studying at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary since 2016, with a total of 30 graduates from 14 countries around the world. Some of them are still living in Hungary and Europe.
