INCHE celebrates its 50th anniversary this year

Between 7th and 11th April 2025, the International Network for Christian Higher Education (INCHE) international conference was held in Biezenmortel, the Netherlands, to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the organisation, of which our university is a member.

The Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary was represented by Prof. Dr. Péter Balla, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Dr. Gyula Balázs Csáki-Hatalovics, Chancellor, and Dr. Gábor Szalai, Head of the International Relations Office. In the student programme, which was an integral part of the conference, Dr. Dóra Pődör, Associate Professor, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences was the lecturer and preparatory teacher on behalf of our university, and our student: Réka Krusóczki from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences represented our students.

The prestigious event was attended by guests from all continents, with around 140 participants: including presidents/rectors, head of international departments, coordinators, lecturers and students from several universities, providing an excellent opportunity to foster existing international relations and establish new ones.

Our university aims to continue to be an active member of INCHE, supporting Christian education and further cooperation between Christian higher education institutions worldwide.
