Graduation ceremony for international students at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

The graduation ceremony for international students at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences was held in the Cigar Room of the Károlyi-Csekonics Palace on June 27, 2025. On this occasion, 11 international students from 11 countries received their degree graduating from the English language BA program in Psychology and the MA program in English Studies.

At the ceremony, the fresh graduates were addressed by Péter Balla, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Mózes Csoma, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Miklós Péti, Head of the Institute of English Studies, Zsuzsanna Kövi, Associate Professor, Institute of Psychology, and Gábor Szalai, Head of the International Relations Office. The event was moderated by Judit Nagy, Vice-dean for International Affairs. The event was followed by a photo session and a reception in honour of the fresh graduates.

International students have been studying at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary since 2016, with a total of 41 graduates from 16 countries around the world. Some of them are still living in Hungary and Europe.
