On 23–24 April 2026, a delegation of the Faculty of Law of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary paid an official visit to the Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL). The delegation was composed of Prof. Dr. Tóth J. Zoltán, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Ádám Boóc, Vice-Dean for International and Scientific Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Sándor Udvary, Vice-Dean for Education.
During the visit, the parties reviewed the existing cooperation between the two institutions and reaffirmed their intention to further strengthen their partnership. In this context, a new cooperation agreement was signed, building upon the previously concluded Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The newly signed agreement provides a framework for student and staff mobility programmes, joint research projects, the organization of academic conferences, and the preparation and publication of joint scientific outputs.
The meeting was also attended by Rózsa József, Ambassador of Hungary to Uzbekistan.
On the second day of the visit, members of the Hungarian delegation delivered lectures in English to TSUL students, introducing the fundamentals of Hungarian constitutional law, civil procedure law, and arbitration law.
The visit contributes to strengthening the Faculty’s international relations and expanding opportunities for academic cooperation.
