The International Evening took place at the Faculty of Law on 22 October 2024, during the Károli Community Days. Students of the LL.M. in European and International Business Law programme had the opportunity to meet Hungarian students of the Faculty. The coordinator of the LL.M. programme, Dr Andrea Miklósné Zakar gave an opening speech and greeted the students, after which the international students presented some peculiarities of their country and culture.
Adekunle Adewale Roqeeb, Károli Christian Scholarship holder student, took us to Nigeria, Batyi Zhusupov invited us to Kyrgyzstan, and then Gamze Sağlık spoke about the Turkish culture and the similarities between Turkish and Hungarian languages. Batyi Zhusupov and Gamze Sağlık are studying through the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship programme.
The presentations were followed by debates on exciting topics between the Hungarian and international students, and in the second part of the event there was an opportunity for informal discussions in the framework of a hospitality.
