Psychology days

Between 14-16 April, Hungary’s greatest, 3-days long Psychology conference was held at Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary. The free conference took place at the Psychology Institute (1037 Budapest, Bécsi út 324.).

The title of this year's conference is "The Scales Game", a game of finding balance, and its lectures and workshops will seek answers to the questions of what does balance mean in our lives? Is it possible to remain unshaken when everything around us is constantly being upset? How does our inner calm, our sense of security in everyday life affect what is happening in the world?

Multimodal code-switching conference

The university’s Benda Kálmán College of Excellence in Humanities and Social Sciences hosted the ‘Multimodal code-switching’ bilingual conference between 20-22 April. The theme of the three-day international conference was the study of multimodal code-switching, i.e., the composition, function and stylistic aspects of multi- and translingual phenomena in different media of art. Presenting the work of the KRE and LangueFlow research group, Code Shift in the Arts was featured in English and Hungarian sessions on Thursday and Friday, and an open forum on Saturday.
