On 26th February, a delegation from Ulsan College (UCU), South Korea was received by the leadership of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary at the Károlyi-Csekonics Palace.
In addition to Cho Hong-rae, President of UCU, Lee Yeon-ju, Director of International Affairs, and Son Seongmin, Dean, Office of Planning & Policy Development Affairs, the delegation was also accompanied by former Ambassador Park Chul-min, who visited our institution several times before.
On behalf of our university, Péter Furkó, Vice-Rector for Science and Research, Judit Nagy, Vice Dean for International Affairs, Mózes Csoma, Head of the Korean Department and former Ambassador of Hungary to the Republic of Korea, and Gábor Szalai, International Director received the delegation.
During the meeting, several opportunities for cooperation between the two institutions were discussed. As a private educational institution, founded in 1973, UCU currently has nearly 6,000 students. The university's strengths lie in its practical training and its very close links with the local community and industry.
