On March 19, His Excellency Ilirian Kuka, Ambassador of the Republic of Albania visited our university for the first time, who was received by László Trócsányi Rector, Péter Balla Vice-rector for International Relations, Judit Nagy Vice-dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Gábor Szalai Head of International Relations Office at the Károlyi-Csekonics Palace.
Albania – where the KRE leadership made an official visit in September 2023 – is a priority for our university. Our aim is to further strengthen professional and research cooperation with higher education institutions in the country, and to welcome more Albanian students in our foreign language programmes. In the Stipendium Hungaricum and the Hungarian Diaspora scholarship programmes, our courses are also open to Albanian students, for either full- or part-time studies. Today's meeting focused on further opportunities to build professional relationships.
