Dr. Edit Jakab, Associate Professor at the Department of Communication and Media Studies, together with 16 KRE students, has achieved international recognition with the short feature film OUROBOROS, created as part of the elective course Beyond the Film Frame: The Art of Spiritual Storytelling in the Fall 2025 semester. The film has been selected as a finalist by the French Riviera Film Festival and will premiere in competition in Cannes this spring.
Alongside the screening, Dr. Jakab has also been invited to participate in the prestigious international panel of the 9th Annual Global Entertainment Showcase in Cannes, where she will speak about the university and her upcoming feature film project. In addition, an extensive interview with her will be published in Indie Entertainment Media magazine, both in print and online.
