Erasmus Life in Paris – Károli Students Share Their Experiences at ICP

Several students from Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary are currently spending their spring semester abroad through the Erasmus programme at Institut Catholique de Paris. Political Science student Zsófia Bíró and English major Evelyn Ciuca shared their experiences about studying in Paris, university life, and adapting to a new international environment.

Both students highlighted that Paris offers a unique Erasmus experience thanks to its rich cultural and historical atmosphere. The university itself is located in the heart of the city’s famous 6th arrondissement, allowing students to fully experience Parisian life on a daily basis.

Since the spring semester began in January, the students had the opportunity to see both snowy winter days and the city coming to life as spring arrived. According to them, the professors and administrative staff at ICP have been exceptionally supportive throughout the entire semester, helping international students adjust smoothly and continuously asking for feedback to improve the programme.
