Applications for the Mentor Program Are Now Open!

The KRE Mentor Program is a voluntary initiative that supports international students and is open to full-time students of the university. As a mentor, you will assist 3–5 international students with their arrival and integration, help them navigate academic and administrative matters, and contribute to organizing various programs to make their stay in Hungary and at Károli more enjoyable and successful.

As part of the program, six BuddyCare sessions will be held throughout the semester. These interactive and engaging meetings provide participants with opportunities to share experiences, discuss mentoring-related situations, and develop their communication and teamwork skills through fun team-building activities in a supportive community.

Students from all faculties may apply to have their volunteer work recognized each semester as an elective course worth 2 credits. This option may be used up to two times during a study cycle. In addition, upon successful completion of the program, participants may request a certificate documenting 40 hours of volunteer work, which can be attached to scholarship applications, job applications, and/or applications for master's degree programs.

For more information, please visit our website, where you can find detailed information about the program.

Applications can be submitted by midnight on Sunday, June 21, 2026, by clicking
