This year’s competition featured 16 teams, including 12 Chinese and 4 international teams. The participating foreign universities were the Faculty of Law of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary, the Hanoi Law University of Vietnam, the University of San Martín de Porres of Peru, and Strathmore University of Kenya.
The team representing our Faculty consisted of the following students:

The team was coached by Prof. Dr. Ádám Boóc, Vice Dean for International and Academic Affairs and Head of Institute.
This year’s fictional case concerned a cross-border trademark law dispute primarily based on Chinese law. In the written memorandum competition, our Faculty’s team achieved 3rd place, while in the overall ranking, the team finished in 5th place. Based on her outstanding oral advocacy performance, Zsófia Tarjáni-Nagy received the Outstanding Oralist Award.
On May 25, 2026, the Faculty of Law of BFSU organized a conference for competition participants entitled the “Sino–Foreign Youth Legal Forum.” At the event, Zsófia Tarjáni-Nagy and Shana Hailati delivered a presentation comparing Chinese, Hungarian, and European Union trademark law, followed by a discussion.
We hereby extend our congratulations to our Faculty’s team and to Prof. Dr. Ádám Boóc, their coach, on this outstanding achievement recognized even by international standards.
