Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary hosted a delegation from the Dr. Lazar Vrkatić Faculty of Law and Business Studies of the Serbian UNION University, led by Prof. Dr. Tamás Korhecz, Dean. The delegation of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary was led by Prof. Dr. László Trócsányi, Rector. Representatives of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Law, and the Faculty of Economic, Health and Social Sciences also participated in the meeting.
The aim of the meeting was to explore opportunities for cooperation between the two higher education institutions. The delegations presented their respective educational profiles, teaching activities and scientific work, and discussed possibilities for joint initiatives.
During the discussions, several areas were identified where professional cooperation could be further developed, particularly in the fields of law, English studies and psychology. The parties highlighted that the geographical proximity of the two institutions provides a favourable basis for regular professional exchanges, joint programmes, summer schools, conferences and research initiatives.
An important topic of the discussions was the preparation of an Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement, which could open up new opportunities for student and staff mobility, as well as for international knowledge exchange and cooperation.
