The latest summer edition of UNI in&out 2026, published by the educational media platform UNIside, presents rankings of the most popular degree programmes across all thirteen academic fields in Hungary. The publication aims to support prospective students in making informed decisions about their future studies and career paths.
Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary once again achieved outstanding results across several subject areas. As Hungary's sixth most popular higher education institution, Károli continues to offer high-quality education and a diverse portfolio of degree programmes for future students.
Faculty of Law
The Faculty of Law ranked 3rd nationwide in the integrated (undivided) Law programme ranking within the field of legal studies.
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
Several programmes offered by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences achieved excellent positions:
- The BA in Eastern Languages and Cultures ranked 1st nationwide in the field of humanities.
- The BA in Communication and Media Studies and the BA in Sociology both ranked 3rd in the field of social sciences.
- The BA in International Studies secured 4th place in the same subject area.
- The BA in Psychology ranked 2nd nationwide. The programme also stood out for its exceptionally high average admission score of 460.4 points, reflecting the outstanding academic achievements of admitted students.
Faculty of Economics, Health Sciences and Social Studies
The Faculty of Economics, Health Sciences and Social Studies ranked 3rd in the field of sport sciences with its BA in Recreation and Lifestyle. Based on the average admission scores of newly admitted students, the faculty achieved an impressive 2nd place, demonstrating the excellent academic performance and high proportion of students with outstanding advanced-level secondary school examination results.
Faculty of Education
The Faculty of Education ranked 5th nationwide in the BA in Early Childhood Education ranking within the field of teacher education, placing among Hungary's leading institutions offering teacher training programmes.
