On 18th September 2024, Colonel Bakhtiyor Berdialiev, Head of the Research Institute of Criminology of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the colleagues of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Budapest paid an official visit to the Faculty of Law of our university.
The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen professional cooperation and joint research between the institutions, to participate in international conferences and to develop the conditions for a Memorandum of Understanding. The members of the delegation were received by Prof. Dr. Zoltán J. Tóth, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Andrea Domokos and Prof. Dr. Ádám Boóc, Vice-Deans of the Faculty of Law, and Dr. Gábor Szalai, Head of the International Relations Office.
Another important event in the strengthening of academic relations between Uzbekistan and the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary was the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Tashkent State University of Law on 26th August 2024, thus facilitating the mobility of lecturers and students, joint research and publications between the two countries.
