The Institute of Public Law of the Faculty of Law of the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary organised a two-day international conference in English on 19-20 October 2023 at the Károlyi-Csekonics Palace entitled European Convention on Human Rights International Conference - 30 years of the European Convention on Human Rights in Hungary, Freedom of Religion or Belief in the 70 years of the European Convention on Human Rights. The main organizer of the conference was Dr. habil. Szilvia Köbel. Two international organisations (ORFECT, ICLARS) were also present as collaborating partners. In addition to the Hungarian speakers, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Polish and Greek speakers contributed to the success of the conference with their high quality presentations.

On 12 October, our university concluded its 30^th anniversary celebrations with an international conference. The event, held in the main chamber of the Parliament, was attended by a full house, the venue being a symbolic reference to the decision taken by the Parliament on 1 October 1993 to codify the founding of the University.

Representing the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary, Prof. Dr. László Trócsányi, Rector, Prof. Dr. Róbert Szuchy, Vice-rector for Education and Dr. Gábor Szalai, Director of International Relations paid an official visit to the private universities of AAB College in Kosovo and the European University of Tirana in Albania between September 10-13, 2023.
