Visit from Sookmyung Women's University

On September 23, a delegation from Sookmyung Women's University (Seoul, South Korea) visited Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary. President Siyeun Moon, Sehjae Chun (Dean of International Affairs), and Jinhee Lee (general secretary) were received by Rector László Trócsányi, Mózes Csoma (Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences), Judit Nagy (Vice-dean for International Affairs, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences), and Gábor Szalai, Head of the International Office. During the visit Rector László Trócsányi and President Siyeun Moon signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

Discussions on cooperation with Sookmyug Women's University began this spring, with the aim of expanding student mobility opportunities for students majoring in Korean Studies. Through the cooperation, both institutions are promoting the establishment of student and teacher exchange programs, as well as the organization of joint conferences and participation in joint research activities.

Sookmyung Women's University was founded in 1906 specifically for the education of women. Located in Seoul, the institution has 11 faculties, 54 departments and institutes, and a student population of approximately 15,000.
