The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme celebrates its 10th Anniversary

The Hungarian Government established the Stipendium Hungaricum (SH) Scholarship Programme in 2013 to promote the internationalisation of Hungarian higher education and attract top students from all around the world. The SH programme - in which our University has been actively participating since 2016 and so far a total of 44 students have obtained a Károli-degree - celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.

During the past decade, the programme has become a brand on its own right, demonstrating Hungary’s commitment to support international education and cultural exchange. The scholarship programme plays a crucial role in strengthening bilateral relations between Hungary and the SH partner countries as well as higher education institutions. Additionally, the programme allows students to showcase Hungary’s rich cultural heritage and promote cultural exchange between nations.

Our University celebrated this anniversary with a special SH birthday cake.
