On 7th February, professors and faculty members of Grace College – a Christian partner institution of Károli Gáspár University in the United States of America – visited our university.
As the first stop of their visit, which lasts until 11th February, the delegation members took part in the opening program of the Károli orientation week for international students.
On 8th February, Rector László Trócsányi received the delegation at the Károlyi-Csekonics Palace. During the meeting, the main points of the student and academic mobility exchange agreement established between the two institutions in 2017 were discussed, as well as the possibilities for joint conferences and programs.
Following the Rector's meeting, two members of the delegation: Jared Scott Burkholder, Professor of History and Patrick Samuel Loebs, Professor of Communication gave a presentation alongside our university lecturers at the half-day international academic conference, called „Social Science Aspects of Social Media”.
On the evening of 8th February, the guests attended the Károli Freshmen’s Ball, and on 9th February, they visited the Institute of English Studies at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
