On 8 June 2026, Prof. Dr. Zoltán Tóth, Dean of the Faculty of Law of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary (KRE ÁJK), and Prof. Dr. Ádám Boóc, Vice Dean for International and Scientific Affairs, paid an official leadership visit to the Faculty of Law of Trnava University (Právnická fakulta Trnavská univerzita v Trnave, Slovakia).

Our University was pleased to welcome a group of students from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, who had the opportunity to gain insight into our institution’s operations, international network, and academic environment during their visit.

The KRE Mentor Program is a voluntary initiative that supports international students and is open to full-time students of the university. As a mentor, you will assist 3–5 international students with their arrival and integration, help them navigate academic and administrative matters, and contribute to organizing various programs to make their stay in Hungary and at Károli more enjoyable and successful.

On May 23–24, 2026, the 18th “BFSU–WANHUIDA CUP” Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition was held in Beijing, organized by the Faculty of Law of Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) and the Wanhuida Law Firm.

Norbert Joko, a third-year Business and Management student at the Faculty of Economics, Health Sciences and Social Sciences of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary, shares his experiences from two semesters abroad within the Erasmus+ programme on our university’s international Instagram page: first from Foggia, Italy, and then from Nancy, France.

Don’t be afraid. Give it a try. It’s worth it —that’s the key message from Professor Miklós Péti, Associate Professor, Department of Literatures and Cultures in English, who spoke about his recent experiences during his visit to Tashkent State University in Uzbekistan. He described an education system that very much resembles ours, but with a community of very active students who want to get involved in their classes. He was also inspired by new methods of teaching that he witnessed there. Overall, he recommends such enriching experiences to every educator and student who wants to gain new knowledge and broaden their horizons.

A delegation from Chiang Mai University visited our university, where the group was received by Rector László Trócsányi. The discussions focused on further strengthening the already existing cooperation between the two institutions.

Several students from Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary are currently spending their spring semester abroad through the Erasmus programme at Institut Catholique de Paris. Political Science student Zsófia Bíró and English major Evelyn Ciuca shared their experiences about studying in Paris, university life, and adapting to a new international environment.
