Dies Natalis Festivities at the Faculty of Theology – 10th October, 2025

On the occasion of the Dies Natalis of the legal predecessor of the Theological Faculty of our university, which was founded on 10th October 1855 as a theological seminary, on 10th October 2025 the Faculty of Theology had a major festive event, part of which was presenting the degree doctor honoris causa to Prof. Dr. Matthias Konradt, who is ordinarius professor for New Testament at the University of Heidelberg. On this occasion Professor Konradt gave a guest lecture, entitled: “Matthew’s and Paul’s Ethics. Constructing a Dialogue.” Professor Konradt was accompanied by his wife, Dr. Beate Konradt.
