On behalf of my classmates, I’m very happy to present a short summary “Report” of the EMLex Career Day 2025, which took place in Budapest on the 10th of November.

The first ever Stipendium Hungaricum Excellence Award Gala was held - a brand-new celebration dedicated entirely to honouring the remarkable achievements, excellence, and international spirit of scholarship holders studying in Hungary.

We are pleased to announce that the online application system for the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship program is now open for studies beginning in the 2026/27 academic year.

On November 4, His Excellency Jean Graff, Ambassador of Luxembourg, visited our university. His Excellency was received by Prof. Dr. László Trócsányi, Rector, Prof. Dr. habil. Zoltán Tóth J., Dean for Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Ferenc Pap, Dean for Faculty of Pedagogy, Dr. Judit Nagy, Vice Dean for International Affairs, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ádám Boóc, Vice-Dean for International and Scientific Affairs, Faculty of Law, Dr. Gábor Szalai, Head of International Office and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Attila Simay, Faculty of Economics, Health Sciences and Social Studies at the Károlyi–Csekonics Palace.

On October 29, 2025, a five-member delegation from Beijing Normal University visited our university: Prof. WANG Shoujun, Executive Vice President, Prof. CAI Hongbo, Deputy Dean, Belt and Road School, Director of Financial Office, Prof. ZHONG Jiayong, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Prof. BIE Rongfang, Director, Center of Information and Network Technology, and GUO Kanjun, Director, Zhuhai Campus International Office.

On the occasion of the Dies Natalis of the legal predecessor of the Theological Faculty of our university, which was founded on 10th October 1855 as a theological seminary, on 10th October 2025 the Faculty of Theology had a major festive event, part of which was presenting the degree doctor honoris causa to Prof. Dr. Matthias Konradt, who is ordinarius professor for New Testament at the University of Heidelberg. On this occasion Professor Konradt gave a guest lecture, entitled: “Matthew’s and Paul’s Ethics. Constructing a Dialogue.” Professor Konradt was accompanied by his wife, Dr. Beate Konradt.

On 11^th October 2025, the Grand Ballroom of the Károlyi–Csekonics Palace hosted the so-called Károli University Day, an event commemorating the foundation of the university and expressing gratitude to its colleagues and supporters.

Mustapha Aabi, Professor at Ibn Zohr University in Morocco and Vice-Rector for International Relations, visited our university on September 24. He began his visit at the Faculty of Law, where he met Dean Zoltán J. Tóth and Ádám Boóc, Vice-Dean for International and Scientific Affairs.
