On the 3rd of March, His Excellency Tetsuya Kimura, the newly appointed Ambassador of Japan to Hungary, paid an introductory visit to our university. Ambassador Kimura and his delegation were welcomed by Rector László Trócsányi; Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Mózes Csoma; Vice-Dean for International Affairs, Judit Nagy; and International Communications Officer Tamara Judi. The Ambassador was accompanied by First Secretary Takeshi Ozaki, Head of the Cultural and Press Department of the Embassy of Japan, and Attaché Natsuki Shinogi, Advisor to the Political Department. During the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their intention to continue their previously fruitful professional cooperation.

On 19 February 2026, Prof. Dr. Róbert Szuchy, Vice-Rector for Education and Full Professor at Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary, delivered an invited lecture at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) of Queen Mary University of London.

On 16–17 January 2026, a two-day hybrid international conference entitled Conceptualizing Legal Framework and Policies for Domestic Animal and Wildlife Conservation: Issues and Challenges was held at the Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, jointly organized with the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary.
