Learn a foreign language as an international student of KRE!

The Department of Foreign Languages at Károli Gáspár University offers a wide range of foreign language courses for international students every semester.
Students can choose from 12 languages: English, French, German, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Finnish, Dutch, Chinese, Norwegian, Portuguese and Turkish.

General information:

  • 12 week courses, i.e. 48 hours per semester,
  • 1x180 or 2x90 minute classes per week 
  • ”hybrid” teaching
  • no more than 20 students per class
  • no more than 3 absences allowed

Language of instruction

Apply for at least B2 level courses, because at the beginner levels (A1, A2, B1) the language of instruction is Hungarian. We encourage you to go to the first classes and discuss your possibilities with the professors.

  International exchange students (e.g., Erasmus or regular exchange program)  Full-cycle students (e.g., self-financed or scholarship holders, such as Stipendium Hungaricum) 
Registration  Use the ERPB-INYL code in Neptun  Use the INYL code in Neptun 
Costs  Free of charge  10.000 HUF / semester / course paid until the 4th week of the semester through the Neptun system 
Credits  6 ECTS  3 ECTS
