Bachelor's programme in International Studies

The International Studies Bachelor's programme aims to train students with a solid understanding of foreign policy, providing them with in-depth knowledge of international relations, national and regional interests, global issues, and European integration processes. Graduates will be capable of identifying and articulating connections within these fields. Throughout the programme, students can acquire competencies that will enable them to engage in international relations, creative problem-solving, and flexible solutions for complex tasks in domestic or international companies, as well as governmental and non-governmental organisations.

The programme places particular emphasis on small-group, seminar-style teaching and talent development, with a strong focus on improving oral and written communication skills.

The programme lasts for six semesters, and students are required to earn 180 credits to obtain a Bachelor’s degree.

To graduate from the programme, students must achieve intermediate proficiency (B2 level) in at least two foreign languages, one of which should be a foreign language for specific purposes relevant to the field. The curriculum includes the courses "Foreign Language for Specific Purposes I-II" and "Foreign Language I-II" to support the acquisition and development of these skills. Additionally, students must complete at least one elective course in a foreign language. We offer a wide range of foreign language courses to help completion.
